2NE1: "We are fine!"

"It was a day we thought of nothing but the girls’ and everyone’s safety. No clues, no signs as we hold on to our hopes that we could still see them again after a devastating earthquake and tsunami of high magnitude hit Japan.

Fans have been discussing about the whereabouts of the girls, and twitter were flooded with #prayforjapan tags. Blackjacks were sad, worried, panicking, exchanging messages of comfort – it was a chaotic day as we watch shaking buildings, cars being washed away by strong whirlpool of water, giant fireballs, and people in panic as they try to run to safer places.

The emotion could never be explained knowing that there were too many people that were dead, homeless, missing and hurt. Everyone is in agony.

What hurts the most too is that there are relative, friends and people we know that are in the area, including our 2NE1.

It was supposed to be 2NE1′s debut, the day the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan."

Dara on Me2Day:
“My me2day… ㅠㅠ We’re fine!”

Bommie on Me2Day:
“Tonight is a sleepless night…This night, I am feeling a lot of things… I want to go back quickly… I want to see you guys ㅠㅠ Our Blackjacks.”

Minzy tweets right after recounting their experiences to her friends on twitter. Minzy said that the earthquake felt like a rollercoaster and that it was shaking so bad for around five minutes. They were scrambling and running down the stairs with their hands and legs shaking really bad. There were still successive minor quakes hitting but not as bad as the first. Minzy still feels terrified and shocked whenever she thinks about it. She was praying really hard and reassured that they are all safe and are back in their rooms.

2NE1 had been able to return to Korea safely. They took a plane home yesterday and arrived safely. Still praying for other people who went through this tsunami, but glad to have you back 2NE1! :\

KARA, JYJ's Jun Su, The Boss, Shin Min Ah, Han Hyo Joo and Kim Jung Hoon all were in Japan at the moment of the tsunami, too, but they were reported to be safe too.
