I have never loved a drama as much as City Hunter. I'm afraid nothing will ever be as good. D:

1Lee Min Ho really did an outstanding job on the acting. He's able to make his watchers go through the same feelings as Yoon Sung was going trough. He is very convincing, at every thinkable emotion. I just can't tell you how good I think he is, but I really enjoyed watching his drama, as always. 2 The drama was filmed differently from others. Different angles, different lighting, different effects. It felt more professional, and the scenes were more dramatic. It made it even easier for me to feel with the characters. This really made a difference to me! 3 I just liked the plot, too. I like how nobody is 'mean' for no reason, they all have their reasons. It all made sense to me, even when (spoiler: hover to read)
Yoon Sung found out Steve Lee wasn't his father. He continued his revenge, and it was clear why.
Yoon Sung didn't always win and got to do things his way, which makes the story a bit more realistic. I think that made his next missions so scary, you would never know what was going to happen. It was not predictable at all, very likable. 4 I wubbed the characters. Especially Yoon Sung who's in a very complicated situation but manages to coop with it. He's also almost flawless at fighting, I'm always amazed when I'm watching the moves, kicks and flips. I really love that. Very strong and concious of his surroundings. He has a feeling of justice which I like too, he is right at some point but his solution is illegal. That's why only City Hunter will get away with it, that gave the South-Korean population a feeling of justice too. Na Na, Young Joo and Da Hye were lovable characters too. ^^
But there's one thing I absolutely dislike about this drama. And that's that it had to come to and end, which has to be done in one episode. I wasn't very satisfied like I was with other dramas, there were some loose ends. But I like the twist it had in the ending, it was good. Damn, I will miss this drama so badly. >:
Yello! Super Junior released their new single third of August. It's good, isn't it? :D Honestly, I haven't been following Super Junior that much. I only coincidentally encountered this song on YouTube. But I'm very satisfied, it's their style again but it has a different feeling. Excited for the rest which is probably about to come!
Nyaaaaaaa! Together with the mini-album, their latest single was released 27th of July. My god, I love the lyrics, but they're rather sad... :( But that proves 2NE1 is only human too, it enables fans to relate to them better. I think it's a good step towards connecting with fans even better.
Anyhow, the song seems a bit less electric than the usual ones. There are more natural instruments, I like that fact a lot. For some reason I love the part that Dara is singing the best. Not sure why. Just grabs my attention. ^^ Ammagad 2NE1, so proud being a fan of yours! :D You satisfied your fans again!

The base immediately captured a place in my heart. This song is very different from their previous songs in my opinion. I like the melody a lot, it's just perfect, it fits well, doesn't feel awkward at all. ^^ Every member get their own part to sing, that's great! I'm surprised there's no rap in this song, but I am not sure if that would have been fit. I really love this song, just great. ^^ 2NE1, jia you!

Well, I wanted to share one thing with you. I noticed that, certainly not the first time I did, that FT Island's but especially 2NE1's music stands out so much in this industry. 2NE1 completely different - it's badass, swaggy, daring, creative, arty and blinking of being so new all the time. Trendsetting. Now I'm only speaking about their music.
When you're watching that bunch of music videos passing by, there's only a few which stand out. It may be filmed differently, have another subject or have other colours or clothing - but I noticed there's a certain 'popular' but also 'commerical' way to film music videos. I feel it's getting a bit common; filming a group while dancing and having some fancy decorations behind. Nothing new :( But I feel 2NE1 does have that constant new thing - there'll always be something extreme in their music videos.
Sorry for boasting about 2NE1 so much, but when I watched this video I honestly felt that way. 2NE1 stands out in music and video; recognisable, trendsetting, daring and refreshing. Maybe that's another reason why I feel like supporting 2NE1 so much. ^^
Whoa, Minzy is such a fantastic dancer. She's good at the direct and short moves which are perfectly timed with the song. I liek to see that, because it's rather hard to do that ^^ Enjoy watching anyway :3

In case you're confused, I understand. First episode of YGTV was the episode that Bommie sang the acoustic version of Please, Don't Cry for us. In that episode, CL also sang for a very short while a part of their upcoming music video Lonely by 2NE1. So excited!
2NE1's new music video will be released on May 12th. I wasn't really aware to be honest, but thank god I'm on time to inform you all. ^^
What a video, took my breath away. The decoration is the first thing that caught my eye - her room in this hospital is really completely white, empty. It gives me a feeling she really has nothing else than her solitude and grief, nothing else to think about. :(
She's just lying there all day. At first I thought she was physically ill, couldn't move and all. But turns out she just doesn't want to, she doesn't need to. Until she thinks to see her loved one, standing in the room. She feels the urge to get out of bed and get to him.
But she won't understand he's not there, he is dead. She's been in an institute because she's been unable to accept he's gone, got stuck in the process of grief at the point one's denying someone's really gone. The x's that are written down probably mean the days she hasn't moved on to a next stadium of grief, but acts the way she's always been doing - denying.
What a saddening music video.. :( It is very good, though, it really caught my attention the entire time. It's been filmed well, too. It's not like the normal world, it feels a little more scary and unknown. That probably how she's feeling there. :\
And IU, again. Such a great voice and the music has been composed so well. Not an average ballad, it feels much more emotional. Enjoy.
I only heard this song half an hour ago, never heard of Kahi before to be honest. I saw a teaser on YT and checked it out - turns out it's been out since 11th of February already, silly Lynn! :3 I tend to be late at finding things out, often.
But I wanted to share this song with you. ^^ At first, let's be honest, I thought it was a common song and a common artist, no offense. But I need to say that I tend to dislike common music more and more because it's getting boring. D: Feels bad to say something like that, but I can't explain differently.
But this song is more special, its bass and electronic touch do the trick. Lately I've been ridiculously obsessed with the bass in music, so I'm very much into dubstep lately. I love the insane extreme bass, you can really feel it 'vibrating' when you turn your speakers up. I love it!

BigBang's Daesung treated us on a real quality song, it's dripping off it! I love the soft instruments and his singing. Daaaarn. I'm rather speechless. Reminds me of old soft rock, but with a new touch because of the little electric sounds and beats in it. So relaxing, so satisfying, so soft, so calming, so caring, so good, I really intensely enjoy listening to this song. Awww I'm being so exaggerated but I can't describe differently.
All I know is that this is the last new track of BigBang's new album; Special Edition.

2NE1's Pretty Boy. You know what I'm talking about? I just listened to it a moment ago and read the lyrics. Always liked the sound of this song, but now I know the lyrics it's become even more meaningful to me. ^^ It's fierce, strong, independant, courageous and daring - which basically describes 2NE1's music. :D
Seriously though. I love their spirit, and I could really learn from them, I think many people could actually. Not that people might not be strong enough or anything (also, who am I to say that?), but some times it's just good to keep your pride and be persistent of what you think is important to you. If you feel confident, you'll be treated like it. ^^ Some times people tend to use your traits like not being able to say no, while they're unaware of it. But you're the one who can feel this, feeling too easy or the feeling of being used.
Try being aware how often you don't say no while you wanted to do so though, and try telling people more often what you do and don't want. Communication is a magical trick to solve problems and make people understand you. People can't smell if you're feeling uneasy, tell them, they'll think twice before saying something next time. :)

This time I'll show you some Taiwanese pop instead of Korean pop. A list of my favourite music from Taiwan. ^^ Here's where my love for Asian music started. I know that all songs I write about here, are songs I like. I'm sorry for boasting so much, it could make songslook invidually less special or unique. I'll be very honest with you now, though. My all time favourites will be shown here - songs that I'll never forget and which have more meaning to me than just the prettiness of the music.
Damn. I didn't watch until episode 12, but since Friday I started watching it again. And I'm so ridiculously glad since it only got better from that episode. Now I understand why this is such a high rated drama. I'm blown away by the underlying message and the love in this drama.
Spoiler: [And I never thought Hye Mi would end up with Sam Dong. I'm really surprised and I'm super happy. What a twist. I just expected Jin Guk would be the one for her. Ammagad. But as always, ending was quick and short but powerful. I'd like long endings better, though, but I guess that's my silly taste.] Select to read.

Ooh! IU released a new single plus its music video 7th of February. After she's been so busy filming Dream High she also got to release this so quickly afterwards. Very well done. ^^
I like the beginning of the video a lot, the little messy and old shop, and the parrot saying 'Saranghaeyo, oppa' meaning 'I love you, oppa' while she feels really ashamed. Really sweet and original beginning. The atmosphere of this video seems vintage but very colourful and happy. I like the IU and her oppa are dressed, vintage again, but I guess I like that - taille skirts of dresses make people's figures look even prettier imo. For a moment this video reminded me of Lee Hyo Ri's U Go Girl but I was wrong. This video is more shy but sweeter too. ^^ Noticed Johnny Depp?
Music is typically IU! Upbeat this time, but as always you can hear her singing quality. She has a really good voice, she can reach a lot.

Problem with some K-pop, for me, is that some times the song wouldn't stick in my head for the entire day, because it might be too common to remember while you're not listening to it. I don't have that problem with Rainbow's (and 2NE1's, Big Bang's or Super Junior's, and that's another reason I love them! :3) songs, so I'm very happy I finally discovered them! I'm late, right?

Son Dam Bi, such an amazing dancer. You can notice by watching her music videos, but you can see in this video for real. ^^ Queen of Dancing! If people disagree, I'd suggest them to dance like her themselves, because this absolutely isn't that easy. Besides, it has to look good, too.

I'm not too keen on ballads, and when I heard the beginning I immediately was uninterested - but after listening a bit longer and understanding what she's singing... this is actually a very high quality song. English subbed. ^^
This drama might seem a bit old comparing to the recent ones, but this is one great drama, one of my favourites. I watched this drama three times, never got bored of it. Feelings which were expressed in this drama will shoot right through your heart, it stings badly or it makes your heart feel like it's flying. The way Jin Ho treats Kae In and the love that slowly grows between them without them noticing, truly could have made my heart explode. Synopsis
"This is the story of youths becoming top global stars which could take place in the not-so-distant future. You may have the looks, talent, personality and even a respectable private life, but it's still tough to rise as a successful star. Here is a group of youths who are still up for this daring challenge. They all have a single weakness barring them becoming the ultimate top star. The weaknesses wouldn't be an issue or an inconvenience to an ordinary person, but they are detrimental to a pop star.
One girl sings superbly but her appearance is not the best to stand before the TV camera. Another student has the looks and musical talent but has a distorted, prejudiced view of the world. There are others who have amazing talent but an unsophisticated fashion sense. Each of these students have managed to pass the exam and enter Kirin Arts High School to begin headlong the challenge of becoming a top superstar. The characters maximize their unique talents and overcome their weaknesses. They fall, trip and fail which only boosts their confidence. The ridicule and scorn they are used to will one day turn into cheers and support. The underdogs and the losers will fly up high and their story will be an inspiration to young viewers."
